Hi, I have listened to some sermons about the nephilim and how people had unnatural sexual relations with angels in Genesis 6. The thing that they tend to say is that in Sodom’s case was the same kind of thing. What happened in Genesis 6 was so wrong that God sent the flood to wipe them all out, except Noah and his family. And what was so wrong it was the fact that the fallen angels tried to compromise human DNA, in the attempt to stop the coming of Messiah from Israel blood line. And that in Sodom they were doing the same thing, thinking that people there knew that the 2 men were angels. Lot probably knew that too. And that is the reason for distruction by fire from heaven.
