UPDATE: According to a report from Protestia, Ms. Philips continues to engage in sexually immoral behavior, continues to produce pornographic content, and expresses her support for homosexual marriage and abortion, while calling herself a Christian. These are all inconsistent with any profession of the Christian faith and would indicate she is still apostate.

Reportedly, another OnlyFans pornstar, Lily Philips, has gotten baptized and feels “closer to God.” I have a few thoughts about this:

First, I hope she genuinely repents and turns to Christ. I want her to be saved and leave the wicked life she has led. I want her to renounce her sin and end up in heaven. What a glorious testimony it would be to see such a radical transformation.

Second, you don’t get baptized to get “closer to God.” You get baptized as a public testimony to the radical transformation God has wrought upon you through repentance and faith in Christ. That makes this suspect to me, though there is little information beyond this post.

Third, whatever this may or may not be, I once again urge patience for all parties. We cannot know if she is genuinely saved or playing acting for the grift until we see either the fruit of the Spirit or the works of the flesh. That comes with time.

Lastly, the greatest and best thing anyone could do for her is urge her to get out of the limelight and into a solid church. The absolute worst thing would be to turn her into yet another “celebrity Christian” where she ends up shipwrecking her faith. (see my previous article on this here).
